Mind-Control
Your Thought Patterns We all have a constant internal dialogue that controls our every reaction and response. What we think and the words we speak have a specific effect upon us. Most every problem both physical and psychological stems from our addictive thought patterns. We, as children are taught a set of rules, or opinions that we accept without question. These rules and opinions form our individual thought patterns - our belief system. Our beliefs about the world and ourselves are judgments, which are decisions that we have made about what is true and what is false. Most of us tend to respond much to life with a conditioned response. We are not able to detach from the previous ways in which our minds have been trained to judge what we see, hear, and feel. This usually prevents us from living fully in the moment and experiencing what is in the present. No matter how different people or situations in the present may be we tend to overlook guided by our memories. It would seem that our individual beliefs have created a world filled with boundaries and limitations. Since birth most all of us have been conditioned to believe that our feelings are who we are, and right or wrong most of us tend to defend against anything that challenges these beliefs and/or makes us feel unsafe. We tend to stay within our conditioned comfort zones even when they are self defeating because we fear what is not known. Many of us fail to recognize that our thoughts are magnetic and attract things that are similar in nature. We do not recognize the judgments that we are constantly putting into motion. Before we can experience anything in the physical realm, we must first give thought to it. We get what we think about and we get it all the time. Therefore, if our thoughts, words, and actions are in alignment with what we want then this is what we will attract. However, if our thoughts and our words focus on what we do not want or what we feel is wrong then we will only succeed in getting more of the same because this is our focus. Our greatest resistance as human beings does not trust what comes from within us. Yet, what comes from within is all that we may trust. Many of us spend most of our lives searching for something outside of ourselves to tell us what is right and what is wrong, or to give us direction. We do not recognize the powerful spiritual guidance system that rests within that we can rely on. This guidance comes through our emotions and lets us know the appropriateness of what we are thinking, speaking, or doing in the moment. There are only two emotions - one feels good and the other feels bad. As we think a thought, say, or do something that is not in harmony with the essence of our highest being our inner self provides a negative emotion. Likewise, when we are thinking, speaking, and acting in harmony with that which we truly are our inner being reflects positive emotions. Most
of us are not able to focus our thoughts on what we truly want because
we have not been intentionally concentrating our minds. Our mind wonders
because we lack discipline. In order for us to change our realities
and have more of what we want, we only have to allow this by minding
our thoughts and releasing all that is no longer necessary for our
growth. This requires venturing out of our comfort zone and taking
complete responsibility for what we allow ourselves to think and speak.
When we begin to do this, what is not real leaves our lives. What
remains represents who we truly are. Consistency in thought and action
is what creates our destiny. When we are feeling good, we are in harmony
with our higher self, and when we are feeling bad, we are not. Our
negative emotions serve in helping us to realize that we are mis-creating
our reality through our thoughts, words, or actions. If we want changes
in our lives then we must begin the process of allowing ourselves
to think and act in new and creative ways. If we do not have what
we want then we are still on the journey of discovering the process
by which our thoughts create our reality. "As you think so shall
it be"....
